Pippa is a sweet, spunky 1-year-old pup who’s more than ready to start her next chapter. She joined our rescue in mid-September after arriving at the shelter with a broken leg, but don’t let that fool you — this girl is a fighter. Through splints, crate rest, and recovery, she handled it all like a total champion. Now she’s splint-free, feeling great, and ready to take on the world. Pippa is pure sunshine wrapped in fur. She’s happy, playful, and full of love for everyone she meets — including young children. She’s very comfortable being cuddled and will happily soak up all the attention she can get. Belly rubs are her favorite, and when it’s time to relax, she’s just as content laying at your feet or snuggling up during movie night. She’s dog friendly and loves making new friends while also reading their cues beautifully, and backing off when another dog is ready for a break. She truly enjoys social time with other pups. Pippa is also doing great with her training. Her walking skills have improved a lot and she responds well to gentle redirection (and treats, of course). She’s housebroken, crate trained, and eager to keep learning in a home that provides structure, consistency, and fun. Like any young pup, Pippa loves to chew, so a home stocked with plenty of appropriate chew toys will help keep her happy and busy.
