Critter Details

Pippy is an approximately 8-10 year old mini poodle who was found by a local animal control officer after being called out to investigate.  It's likely she escaped or was let loose from a nearby puppy mill. She is a lovely sweet dog but remains traumatized from her years in the mill and can be skittish.  Pippy is good with other dogs, pee pad trained, initially vocal when left alone but not destructive.  She does not yet walk on a leash and is a flight risk, so someone with a backyard would  be essential.  They can practice walking on a leash with her before she goes "free style" as she would definitely bolt if her collar or harness malfunctioned or became loose.  She will need work on housetraining.  The foster parents have managed to get her pee pad trained and next is outside training but due to the winter weather their yard has not been available (but it is now).  She is fully vetted including a dental surgery
