Pixie is an 8-year-old Pomeranian who came to us after her owner went into hospice and was unable to care for her. Due to her owner's dementia, Pixie was neglected for a while, and when she arrived, she was matted and unsure of her new surroundings. But now, she’s been shaved, is up-to-date on her shots, and is ready to find a forever family who will show her the love and care she deserves! Pixie is a timid and shy girl and she’ll need some time to adjust to new people and places. She’s looking for a quiet, patient home where she can build trust and feel safe. Pixie does have a history of biting, so she needs a family with no other pets or small children.   Pixie is spayed and ready to find her new family. Important Details: For adopters, please note we do not transport our dogs, Pixie is only available for a local (Raleigh, NC area) adoption. Pixie is not potty trained Pixie has a history of biting, so she must go to a home without other pets or small children.
