Meow! Meow! My name is Plankton and I love people, snuggles, toys and food! My favorite time to meow is after a can of my food is opened. I will just stare you in the eye and meow until the bowl of cat food is placed in front of me. Then I forget all my manners and gobble gobble all that food up. I am very food motivated. It is so very disappointing when my foster mom opens a can of food for herself and doesn’t share with me—so rude! I am a playful crazy kitten and totally fit the orange cat stereotype. I am known to accidentally roll off the couch, try to jump somewhere I can’t reach and fall on my face, play with anything I decide is a toy, and explore every nook and cranny of new spaces. I love to play with my siblings and go bananas when I hear the jingle of a cat toy. Most the time I play until I have no energy left and I must take a nap. Naps are one of my favorite activities. I love to snuggle and take a nap on my foster mom’s lap while she works. Sometimes I try to nap on the laptop, but I always get airlifted off before I can settle in. I am looking for my forever home! I am a high energy kitten and would love to be adopted with one of my siblings: Barnacle, Skipper, John B, or Marina. Born May 15, 2024. foster: EC Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These ‘guardian kittens’ help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These ‘guardian cats’ help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
