Meet Platypus! DOB: September 2025Weight: 35 lbs (full grown)Disposition: Affectionate, Smart, Curious, Independent Unphased by his missing leg, this little man will put a smile on your face. He’s fearless, loving and absolutely adorable. He loves to explore and he quietly entertains himself, but is a very affectionate boy. Little Platypus is a dream pup!History: Platypus was dropped off at an LA vet with an ulcerated paw. Xrays indicated his entire limb was impacted as it was swollen to the hip and the tissue was sloughing off. TBL rescued him in October 2025 and in the two days we were awaiting his vet visit, his tissue was increasingly necrotic and slouging off. Upon examination, the vet agreed his leg needed amputation.
