Get to know Pongo, a little dog with a big heart!  Pongo is a playful, curious 7-pound pup full of personality and charm. He is mostly house trained and crate trained, but he’s still learning how to ask to go outside—so he’ll need a patient family to help him finish mastering his potty skills. He’s also working on walking politely on a leash and currently pulls, but with time and consistency he’ll get the hang of it.Pongo starts off a little shy, but he warms up quickly and becomes incredibly affectionate. He attaches easily to his people and loves being near them—he’ll happily follow you from room to room just to be part of the action. He’s very sweet, not aggressive, and loves treats, squeaky toys, crinkle toys, and going for walks.He’s still a young dog learning his basics, including responding to his name and general commands. He’s also a bit of a collector—he may grab shoes or socks, but he doesn’t chew them; he simply likes to keep them with his toys, especially if you’ve left the room for a while.Pongo would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, and where he has space to run, play, and enjoy long daily walks.
