     My name is Pop-Up Peggy.I am a female, brown and white Mixed Breed mix. Age: My age is unknown. More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 31, 2026.FOUND DOG! This sweet girl was found in Crystal River on Pomegranate Street and is now safe at Citrus County Animal Services. She appears to be a young adult (approximately 6 months–2 years old) and weighs 54 pounds. Friendly from the start, she quickly forms a connection with people and seems eager for companionship. She already knows ‘sit’ and ‘down,’ walks nicely on leash, and has been a pleasure to spend time with. She also appears interested in other dogs, though she’s shown a softer, submissive side when meeting dogs who bark at her. Underneath it all is a gentle girl who seems to be looking for reassurance and friendship.If she is not reclaimed by her owner, she will be available for adoption on 6/4/26.
