He’s Popeye the sailor man! However he and his sister haven’t had the chance to do much sailing yet. But they have both proven themselves to be strong and courageous since they were found running through the streets together and scavenging for survival. They were found by a good samaritan who called the local animal control, but since there’s not a shelter, they discovered that they would have been euthanized immediately. We couldn’t let that happen, so we took them in. Popeye has been to the vet for his initial vetting and vaccinations, and the vet believes he is just 4 months old. He weighs 18 pounds. He is currently in Texas with a foster, but will be transported to the NJ area once adopted.
