Critter Details

  I am scheduled to be at our Willow Grove PetSmart adoption event Aug. 31.  Please ask to meet me!  Thank you!   Sweet, playful, and curious young lady!  Meet Poppy! She is an affectionate and playful young adult who loves receiving pets and kisses on the top of her head (on her terms, of course). Poppy is a dilute calico with a mostly white coat with gray- and peach-colored patches. She has the most beautiful green eyes and an adorable pink nose. She is approximately 3-4 years old.    Poppy would be a great partner to binge that latest Netflix series with, as she can often be found snuggling against the nearest human relaxing on the couch. She even sleeps by her foster mama’s feet in bed at night. Poppy loves her humans, but she is also an independent girl. She likes to bask in a sunbeam or to lay quietly in a windowsill watching the birds for hours. Although she is sometimes mellow and independent, Poppy also gets the “zoomies” and then plays with every toy she encounters (especially her big catnip mouse). She likes to play with her humans by chasing wand toys and pouncing on wiggling fingers under a blanket.  Poppy is spayed, fully litter-trained, and up to date on her vaccinations. She knows how to use her scratching post to stretch out her claws, and she isn’t a picky eater. She gets along with other cats (with a proper introduction), and she would be a great match for older children who would be patient as she gets used to her new home. Poppy is not comfortable around dogs.
