Portia is a sweet, spunky pup born around August 2024. She came to the shelter with an injured leg, and after seeing a specialist, it was determined that her left leg was beyond repair. Despite the challenges, Portia had to have the leg amputated—but that hasn’t slowed her down one bit! This little Dachshund mix is full of life and energy, and she loves everyone she meets. Portia is always ready to show her affection. She’s currently recovering from surgery and is looking for a foster or adopter who can help her through her healing process and continue to show her the love she deserves. Portia may have three legs, but this is just the start of a long, happy life ahead of her!
