Princess is a 7-year-old Aussie Shepherd and mixed breed with a heart as bright as her striking blue eye. Fully grown at 26 pounds, she is the perfect small companion who brings both sweetness and personality wherever she goes. Her little legs may not have gotten the Aussie memo, but her spirit certainly did. She is playful, curious, and always ready to join the fun and can even keep up with much younger canine friends. Princess was surrendered after her owner passed away and suddenly found herself in a world she did not understand. The transition was stressful, but this resilient loyal royal has blossomed into a calm, affectionate, and trusting companion. She loves running in the yard, exploring new spaces, and then settling in close to her humans for hugs and tummy rubs. Her favorite throne is your lap, and her tiny mohawk only adds to her royal charm.Princess is house trained, crate, and leash trained. Roll out the red carpet for this girl is a star in her own right. Although she is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. She is good with kids and other dogs, though it is unknown how she feels about cats. What is certain is that she is loving, loyal, and ready to bring warmth to a home again. This sweet little girl will thrive with a family who wants a gentle, devoted companion and, because Princess is, simply put, a love.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Princess is $300. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
