See Princeton’s HomepageGo to our official websitePLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.1/17/26 Prudence and Princeton are a happy, sweet, little bonded pair of Shih Tzus (possibly mixed with Lhasa Apso?). These 2 precious babies were found as strays, and it was later found that their owner had moved and left them behind. Prudence is the girl and she has the darker coloring. She is slightly smaller than her brother. They are both around 15 lbs. They are a little bit shy at first, but warm up quickly with a little bit of baby talk. They have been with their foster for a little while now because it took a while for us to fit them into the spay/neuter schedule. Princeton has a cherry eye that will be surgically fixed next week. Once that is done, they will be ready for their own home! We feel that it is important for their mental health to be kept together, because they are very bonded to one another. They both seem to be young, around 2 years old. They will need a little help with house training, but they do well in their crate at their foster home. Once they are in their own home where they can receive more individual attention, they will learn faster. It is difficult to work on training in their current foster situation. These little ones are going to be such a great addition to someone’s family! Prudence and Princeton are located in Arkansas. They can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350.
