Pumpkin arrived in rescue in June in desperate needs of weight loss. Her first home was not a good fit…too loud and chaotic. All she did was eat and hide. At foster bootcamp Pumpkin found the peace she needed…and the workouts to restore her health. She has lost a remarkable 20% of her body weight…with a little more to go.  She is naturally a large cat, but not naturally a fat cat! She's healthy now and ready for a home with people who will continue to help her diet and exercise. She seeks a tranquil,  adult-only home with experienced cat parent(s). She doesn't love other cats but she okay with cat-friendly dogs, after a proper introduction. Pumpkin is a social girl, good with strangers…she won't run and hide. She loves attention and affection…a natural born snuggler who loves to cuddle; as she's lost weight the lap cat in her has emerged. While you're busy or at work she'll roam the house staking out all the best warm, sunny spots for long, luxurious naps in between exercise drills!
