Please reference www.DefensaAnimalDePuertoRico.org/Adopt  to learn how adoptions work with Defensa & Rescuers.  The Puntas Pups are a trio of dog friends—Paulo (black), Pepito (brown), and Piña (cream)—who have been living on the streets together in Puntas for around five years. They used to be scared of people, but now they are good with humans—friendly and loyal to those they've built a relationship with, running up to see them and walking alongside them. The goal is to get the dogs off the streets and into a loving home together, one with no other animals, especially small animals, as the dogs have a strong prey drive. (They do fine with horses, though.) All three have been sterilized thanks to an organization in the area. If you are in the market for three new dog buddies, please write to defensarincon@gmail.com.
