Say hello to Chablis the adorable Basset/Poodle mix girl that was born June 3rd and has all the charm of little munchkin that just wants to have fun!  At almost 5 months old and approximately 20 pounds, she is the life of the party.  She is personality plus and has become a foster favorite after only one day.  Chablis is very friendly and loves attention anywhere and at any time.  She would prefer you give her all the attention over her siblings. She has never met a toy that she did not like and is often seen carrying a ball around in her mouth.  Her foster mom did not have the heart to tell her that she is not a Retriever so we just let her be what she wants to be :).  Chablis will play fetch and does not tire from the game easily. She listens well and as long as she is taken out to potty frequently, her house breaking will be a breeze.  She is crate trained and should pick up quickly on whatever house rules are in place in her new home. Her body composition is one of a lowrider pup with a long body and legs that look like a Basset and we are told there is a Poodle mix in her DNA.  Her hair has been shaved by a groomer that got a little out of hand when told to just trim up the wild and unruly longish hair.  She will be a light shedding and long wavy hair girl in another 3-4 months when her shave down look grows out.
