This lovely lady came to Little Paws through an owner surrender due to medical reasons and is ready to shower a new family with love and affection.   Environment   Queenie is a wonderful little lady who goes potty outside and thrives with regular outdoor trips every 4-6 hours (she won’t come tell you when she needs to go, so keeping a schedule works perfectly). She has a lovely medium energy level that makes her perfect for short walks and playtime.   Queenie loves walks and is great on a leash, making her an excellent walking companion. While she previously loved her crate and would often go inside happily, she’s currently doing well in a secured bathroom area with gates.   Queenie can comfortably be left alone for 4-5 hours and does great overnight. Whether she can be in a home with shared walls will depend on your neighbors/situation as there is some barking — sad when saying goodbye and happy when you return. She’s quiet when you’re gone and settles down. When her foster family is home, she doesn’t bark at all.    Pets & People   Queenie is simply one of the sweetest, friendliest dogs you could hope to meet! She’s a people-loving pup who never needs time to warm up – she’s just naturally happy-go-lucky and treats everyone like a long-lost friend. Her excellent socialization shows in every interaction.   Queenie is fantastic with other dogs and has no trouble making new canine friends. Her previous owner reported that she was also good with cats. When it comes to treats, Queenie is getting much better at taking them gently – she’s food-motivated and eager to please, making her a joy to train and work with.   Transportation   Queenie is an excellent travel companion who loves car rides, so she’s ready for the journey to her new home!   Location   Queenie is available for adoption from Greensboro, GA.
