Meet Ragu: A Brave Boy Looking for Love Ragu is a sweet, resilient young male tabby who's been through a lot. After being adopted and quickly returned without explanation, he went back to his foster — where a sudden change in behavior revealed something was wrong. His jaw was swollen and painful, and a trip to the emergency vet uncovered a serious bone infection (osteomyelitis) from two old, healing fractures in his lower jaw. Despite the pain, Ragu never stopped being gentle and affectionate. He has gone through extensive medical care and has recovered incredibly well. Ragu has been through a lot in his short life and has to learn to trust people again. Despite all of this, he is still a loving, sweet cat. He is looking for a calm, loving home where he can finish healing and start fresh. He’s a quiet cuddlebug with a big heart — ready for the second chance he deserves. Ragu is a gentle soul—quiet and reserved—who would thrive in a calm, peaceful environment. He gets along well with both dogs and other cats, and while he might be a bit shy around children at first, he just needs time and patience to feel comfortable. Ragu doesn’t like to be grabbed or snatched up suddenly, but once he trusts you, his sweet personality shines through. He’s not only beautiful and intelligent but also has impeccable litter box manners. Ragu is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm.
