LOCATION: Heath, TXDOB: 05/28/2023Hi guys! My name is Rain, but my foster mom says it should be Reign because I rule the house! I’m about one and a half years old and live in Heath, TX. I haven’t met a dog or a cat face-to-face that I didn’t love from the get-go, but I’m still pretty young and high energy, so I think it’s funny to boop the cat with my paw. If you have a young pup that needs someone to wear them out, I’m your girl, but I also love having alone time with my humans! I love people and meeting humans of all sizes.I’m not the biggest fan of a crate, but I’ll run straight to it if I know it’s feeding time! Otherwise, just give me a comfy blanket and a few minutes, and I’ll settle my whining down. I get sad when my foster mom leaves the house, but she trusts me enough to leave me not crated. I don’t like sharing my bully sticks with my pup friend because bones are my absolute favorite, but I share toys and even watch the cats steal food out of my bowl.My foster mom says I’ve got a few quirks. I scared the crap out of her when I randomly started barking in the car until she figured out I absolutely hate wiper blades moving. I’m still getting used to the Roomba, but what started out as anxiety and attacking them is slowly turning into curiosity and ease around those loud vacuuming machines.When I’m not roughhousing with my foster mom’s other pups or having full-blown Zoomies on the couch, my second favorite thing to do is hang out with my human. If you’re looking for someone to curl up in a ball at your feet in bed and stay there the entire night, I’m your gal. In fact, I’ll meet you in bed when you start shutting down the house! I love hanging out on the couch with foster mom or just being in the same room with her. She says I’m the best at potty breaks as I have never had an accident in the house in the two months I’ve been here, and I go out to immediately do my business when you ask me to! I haven’t spent much time on a leash (for the safety of my babies, I stay home), but I have really good recall in the backyard and have done well on the leash going to and from the vet.If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and quirky companion, I’m ready to bring joy and laughter into your home.
