Critter Details

Rain is the perfect mix of calm, cuddly, and spunky. Because she is front-declawed, she greets you with the gentlest little paw hugs, using them to pull your hand to her head for a nice scratch. As if that isn’t cute enough, she also has the sweetest chirp and mew. That’s her signal for one of her famous “love bursts.” She’ll seek you out, knead your lap like a biscuit pro, and melt into your pets and praise. When Rain isn’t asking for love, she’ll be soaking up the sun in her favorite window hammock, chirping at birds, and watching the world go by. She’s also a big fan of sitting on crinkly paper. Ah, simple joys! Rain strikes a nice balance between being near her people (she’ll follow you from room to room) and respecting alone time. If you’re busy, she’ll snooze in a sunny spot. Wand toys bring out her playful side, and she’s always ready for a gentle play session. A real champ about her care, Rain easily takes daily hyperthyroid medicine mixed in her food as well as a quick monthly arthritis shot to keep her spry. She’s managing a few tummy quirks like a pro with help from her foster family. She will bring with her a three-month care package, including her medication, to make her transition easier. Rain would love a calm, caring home as an only queen or with another gentle, easygoing kitty friend. (She’s all grace and no fuss with her foster brother.) This sweet, chirpy, sun-loving companion will remind you every day how special it is to be loved by a cat. Age: 8 Animal ID#: A179393 &#226&#128&#139I am not at the shelter.
