AN ADORABLE GENTLEMAN:  Approx. 13 years old / Approx. 10 lbs. Hi, my name is Ralphie!  I came to Mostly Mutts when my family was moving and couldn’t take me with them. I have been spending time in a great foster home and am enjoying my time here, and they love me, so that sounds like a good preview of the great home that awaits me!  I’m now available for adoption, so plan to meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’ve met dogs in my foster home, and I pretty much just ignore them and go about my normal business.  So, if you have a dog that is not looking for a playmate, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I’ve met some very gentle kids in my foster home and have been fine with them, though I am not looking to be a kid’s buddy or to interact with them much, so if you have older kids that sound like a match for me, let’s meet and best no very young kids.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a quiet, sweet and easygoing senior boy who enjoys a peaceful life and spends much of my time happily snoozing in my comfy beds.  I like knowing where my people are and enjoy a nice back scratch and gentle attention, though I’m not especially interested in being held or hanging out on the couch.  I do enjoy my walks, and if I’m not quite ready to head back inside, I may simply keep strolling past the steps instead of stopping to be carried up.  Stairs are difficult for me, and I do not walk up or down them, so a home with few to no steps would be especially nice.  I am fine being carried when need be. / Energy Level: 2-3 though I do get a little pep in my step for walks some days.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I don’t recall if I know any commands, but Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so we could go to one of those – or we could just not concern ourselves and enjoy a quiet life at home. / I am not crated in my foster home and just sleep in one of my doggie beds. / I must be honest with you and say that my potty manners are not good.  I do potty when I’m on walks, but when inside, I will potty there, too.     • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy napping, gentle pets along my back, and my tasty meals and treats.  Little snacks of apples and veggies are especially nice!  I also like hanging out in the kitchen with my people, though I do get a little underfoot while supervising all the activities. /  I’m not a fan of stairs and need to be carried up and down them.  I can be sensitive about being touched on my face or head, which may have been related to needing dental cleaning and tooth pain – thankfully I’ve had that done so time will tell.  Like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love and good care.  • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I’ve just had a dental cleaning and 5 teeth pulled, so thankfully, my mouth is healthy again.  I’ve got some older gentleman lumps and bumps that are of no concern to me, and I hope you won’t mind them either. I’m on a good over-the-counter Cosequin joint supplement which is good for all older dogs.  I’m looking forward to living a good quiet lifestyle with a family that will treasure me!  My adoption fee is $100.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
