Critter Details

Meet Raven, the adolescent black kitty. Raven and their 5 feline friends were brought into a home to keep them safe and attempt to rehome them. The good Samaritan had them for a couple weeks and were unable to care for them long term. They are friendly and love soaking up attention. Raven may enjoy a home with one of their feline friends, but is not required to be adopted with them. A home with resident animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Raven may enjoy and indoor-outdoor home (after a period of at least 30 days of acclimation) or may be just as happy being safely indoors full time. Ravenâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey fund â&#194&#128&#194&#147 a fund that draws adopterâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s eyes towards often overlooked black cats in the Shelter. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end â&#194&#128&#194&#156meet and greetsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
