See Raven: At shelter available 8/11’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. One of two young adult females found as strays, Rachel apparently is a sister to Raven. we feel the girls are about a year old, and both have a milk supply, indicating they have had puppies recently. When they were found, no puppies were discovered, but the two moms were willing to serve as wet nurses to substitute for the missing mom of a litter of puppies that were found in another part of the county. it does sound complicated, doesn’t it? And it is! How on earth did this happen? The moms are willing participants in our “foster dog” program, Which has been a real blessing since the puppies really appreciate having a mother take care of them and being able to nurse occasionally from the moms. We find it very strange that no one has come looking for either one of these beautiful girls. They are most likely goldendoodles or labradoodles, Both sisters are matted and tangled. all we can do is try to imagine why they are with us! Although they will be available officially on August 11, it is possible they will not be made available for adoption immediately. They are serving an important purpose right now by taking care of babies.     PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA.
