All Reggie wants is to be your best friend (and a good snack, of course!). He is a large Silver Labrador Retriever with a beautiful, shiny coat and an affectionate personality to go along with it. In the shelter, Reggie suffers from anxiety— he barks and barks until someone pays attention to him. This means that he really doesn’t show very well to the public, in spite of all of his amazing qualities. Reggie walks well on the leash and is very food-motivated, which should definitely help with training. Don’t let his age fool you— Reggie would tell you that age is just a number! Despite being about 5 years old, this boy remains high-energy and ready-to-go. Due to this, we’re looking for an active adopter. Reggie does display some resource-guarding behavior, particularly towards other dogs. Because of this, he would prefer an adult-only, single dog home.
