See Reid: Not at shelter (Ron)’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.REID was not handling his confinement well at the shelter—so it was a blessing that our foster caregiver Ron was open to a new foster pup. The good news is that Reed is fitting in beautifully, loves Ron and his family, and is enjoying visiting the other dogs from a distance. Because he was just neutered he cannot immediately interact, but it won’t be long before he’ll be up to that as well. We think Reid is about a year-and-a-half or two years old, but of course we don’t know for sure since he showed up as a stray. From Ron’s observations: “He's so sweet. I think he likes working. He'll jaunt off to check something out, then come right back and sit with me until something else catches his eye, and he repeats the process. He has some nervousness, a little squeaking and jaw chattering from time to time, but calms when he is active or being stroked and told what a good boy he is. No barking or any reaction outside of interest, when he sees my dogs come by to head outside.” Neutered, smart, well-rounded, calm….. would he be a good fit for you?
