Meet Reina, the black and white tuxedo gal! Reina came to the Shelter as a stray with some kittens in tow. She has been social since her arrival to the Shelter. In a foster home, she was loved on and given excellent care while raising her kittens. Reina has weaned her kittens and now is ready to be loved herself. Although she has some experience outside, adopters should plan on keeping her indoors for at least 30 days while she acclimates to her new environment. An indoor only home would be safer long term for Reina (as well as our local wildlife). We do not have any history of Reina with other cats, dogs or children. Any introductions to resident animals should be done slowly and thoughtfully. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end â&#194&#128&#194&#156meet and greetsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
