Meet Ricky — The Ultimate Sidekick & Certified Lucky Charm Ricky is a curious, affectionate little guy who firmly believes he should be included in everything. He suffers from major FOMO and will let out a few pitiful, heart-melting meows if he can’t be where you are. Whether you’re cooking in the kitchen, relaxing on the couch, or taking a bath, Ricky is right there supervising. (Yes, he will sit nearby during bath time to make sure you don’t drown.) If you’re couch-rotting while watching Emily in Paris… expect Ricky to be purring on your lap, laying on his back, and generously offering access to his favorite scratch spot—his belly!Ricky is playful, confident, and social. Since he's still young, Ricky will need to be adopted into a home with another kitty to socialize with—and he would truly love to be adopted together with his brother Lucy. Lucy is the other half of an adorable tuxie duo and they are best friends! The two seek each other out constantly and sleep cuddled together every night. Ricky brings out Lucy’s playful side and helps him feel brave, and it’s strongly believed that Ricky's happiest life includes Lucy by his side.This mustachioed cutie adores roughhousing with his foster mom’s adult cats and loves chasing wand toys, practicing his hops, and sliding enthusiastically into walls while he learns how to pump the brakes. He’s still pretty small for his age, so the airtime on his leaps is limited—but his determination is impressive. Ricky has been exposed to adult cats, big and small dogs, and children ages 4–15, and he’s been a big hit with everyone. He’s very much a people-person and leans toward the “needy” side in the most charming way possible. He loves to be pet, held like a baby, and will purr so hard his entire body vibrates.Ricky also has one extremely important (and proven) superpower: luck. It’s a documented fact that Ricky is the Chicago Bears’ lucky charm. When held during games, the Bears magically turn things around and win—including their recent victory over the Packers! His foster mom’s husband is devastated that Ricky won’t be around to finish out the season, but the good news is that this luck can be transferred to his adopter.
