ROBERT NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Robert and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (04/20) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Falls Church, VA (6100A Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044)!   Come meet Robert and other great adoptable dogs this Saturday (04/19) from 12-2 pm at the Petco in Bailey’s Crossroads, VA (5825 Leesburg Pike, Bailey’s Crossroads, VA 22041)!   Name:   Robert          Best Guess for Breed:   Bassett Hound / Shepherd Mix   Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of April 2025          SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   31 lbs as of April 2025   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   DC area boarding partner   Robert is Looking For:    A family of his own to take him on long sniffy walks to work that hound nose, and lots of ear scritches! A nice warm bed, a safe home and lots of high quality kibble and treats are just what he wants!   What My Foster Says About Me:  Robert has been such a lovely houseguest! He responds very well to ‘leave it’ and ‘come here’, and he’s learned to sit in order to get treats. Once he’s got his walks in, he loves curling up on the couch – he sat very calmly between us while we watched a movie. He hasn’t had any accidents inside so far, and he loves to give kisses. Overall, Robert is an A+ dog who would make anyone happy with his smarts and his smooches. Daycare reports that he is happy, chill, and does great with other dogs. He is very playful, loves walks and eating, and loves attention from the staff at boarding. He is super loving and excited with everyone, even new people.    Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
