A SMART & FRIENDLY FELLOW:  Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 60 lbs. Hi, I’m Robinson, but I answer to the name Kota (please refer to Robinson though when inquiring about me as that’s the name all my records are under).  I was born into the Mostly Mutts program and adopted for 2 years, but my owner ended up traveling for work way too much, so they wanted a better situation for me and Mostly Mutts welcomed me back!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  My former owner reported that I liked the dogs I met while with them.  At Mostly Mutts, I like the more mellow dogs and have growled at the higher energy dogs, so if you have a more mellow dog, let’s meet! / My former family reported that I did well with the cat I knew, but I have not met kitties at Mostly Mutts. / I met some kids at Mostly Mutts that were around 10 years old and liked them.  My former family reported that I also liked the kids I met while I was with them, though I don’t recall their ages, so if you have kids let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I overheard the volunteers say that “I’m a great dog who is both smart and very friendly and that someone is going to be very lucky to adopt me!”  They also said that “I’m a shelter favorite and a fun guy who does things with zeal” – I say that “I have a zest for life, and I can’t wait to find my new family!” / My energy level is approx. 5 – 7 at Mostly Mutts though my former owner reported that it was a bit higher than that with them.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come' and 'leave it' commands.  I also use proper door etiquette as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. It’s clear that my former owner did some training with me and they also reported that I know how to give my ‘paw’ and ‘go to bed’. I do take treats a bit roughly, but I’m working on that with my trainer. I look forward to learning even more! / My crate manners are good at MM and my former owner also reported that I had good crate manners. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule and my former owner reported that I did well with them, too.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy spending time with all the nice volunteers and seem to love everyone I’ve met!  I also love to be scratched all over and enjoyed the massage part of my bath.  Playing with toys is fun and the ones with squeakers are some of my favorites.  I love treats when we’re training and I am great at catching them, too. / I wasn’t a big fan of having my feet touched during my bath, but there are desensitizing practices that you can do to help me get used to it.  I also didn’t like being restrained during my vetting or nail trim.  I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.
