Name:  Rocket          Best Guess for Breed:  Long-haired Chihuahua mix    Best Guess for Age:   11 months as of 11/21/2025          SEX:   male   Approximate Weight:  14.6 lbs.   Gets Along With:  other dogs. We haven’t seen Rocket with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at: the shelter, Rocket needs a foster and a forever home.   Special adoption considerations:  Rocket needs an adopter who is very committed to socialization and will make sure he goes on walks with other dogs, visits the dog park, or goes to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.   Rocket is Looking For:  Rocket may be small, but don’t let his size fool you—he has big dreams. He imagines himself trotting beside you on walks, curling up in your lap after a long day, and making you laugh with his playful puppy antics. Rocket’s silky coat makes him look like a tiny fox, and his bright eyes sparkle whenever he meets someone new. Rocket is still learning the ropes of life, so he’ll need a patient human to guide him with gentle training and lots of encouragement. In return, he promises to shower you with affection, loyalty, and endless cuddles. He thrives on being part of the action—whether it’s playtime, family time, or just keeping you company while you relax. What Rocket want most is a forever home where he’ll never feel alone. If you’re looking for a companion who’s equal parts playful and cuddly, Rocket might be the perfect match. What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update as soon as Rocket arrives and spends some time with a foster.
