Rocky is the cutest little dude with a personality that will absolutely steal your heart. He’s the kind of pup who’s worth taking a little time to get to know — because once you’re in his circle, you’re besties for life! He may need a brief moment to warm up, but he loves love and usually opens up quickly. Rocky is still a puppy and is very much still learning, but he’s got a great head on his shoulders. He’s been working hard on potty training and crate training and is doing wonderfully with both! With continued structure and positive reinforcement, we know he’ll continue to thrive. When left alone, Rocky has typically been crated to help set him up for success. Like many young pups, if left alone too long without guidance, he may get a little curious (and mischievous) with household items. He already knows the cues “sit,” “down,” and “off,” and he’s eager to keep learning. Rocky is very connected to his people — a true Velcro dog who wants to be wherever you are. His happy wiggles and enthusiasm can be a bit much for some small children. He absolutely loves kids and means well, but he can get carried away with roughhousing in his excitement. With other dogs, Rocky may be a little hesitant at first but quickly turns into a playful companion. He would likely enjoy a friendly dog in his new home, especially one who matches his playful energy. He’s been very curious about cats, so slow introductions and positive redirection will be important. We absolutely adore Rocky. His spunky, affectionate personality is sure to fill your home with endless cuddles, laughter, and happy smiles.
