Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Ronnie! She’s a beautiful brown tabby with a quiet heart and gentle soul. Ronnie may be quiet but she has a special way of making her presence known. She’s even tempered, affectionate, and finds comfort in kind hands and a calm voice. Recently, Ronnie’s world was turned upside down when her family had to move and could no longer keep her or her feline friend Mac. Though Ronnie and Mac lived together in the same home they are not a bonded pair and can be adopted separately. Even though everything has changed, Ronnie has remained gentle and loving. She has never stopped wanting soft pets or showing her true gentle spirit. Ronnie just needs a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Once she knows she’s safe, she will reward you with gentle companionship and unconditional love. Ronnie is declawed and would do best with older respectful children in a calm environment where she can settle in at her own pace. While our rescue prohibits declawing of the cats in our care, we would never turn away a cat who has already been declawed. We are committed to finding cats like Ronnie the safe, loving future she deserves. Ronnie didn’t ask for her life to change, or for the home she loved to disappear. What she is asking for now is simple – a quiet place to belong, a family willing to give her time, and a promise this goodbye will be her last. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
