Name:   Rooster          Best Guess for Breed:   Chihuahua and Terrier mix  Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of Jan. 2025          SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   13 lbs   Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven’t seen Rooster with cats or kids, but he can be tested!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter – Rooster needs a foster or adopter to make his way to the DC area   Special adoption considerations:    We would be cautious placing Rooster in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare small breed dogs with their level of energy or noise.  Children would need to be supervised closely to ensure their interactions with the dog are calm and gentle in nature.  We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant.   Rooster is Looking For:    This tiny but mighty 13-lb Chihuahua mix is ready to strut his way into your heart!
