See Rory’s HomepageGo to our official websiteMeet Rory, a Terrier/Lab mix puppy born approx 1/4/25. Rory is a delightful little puppy, very easy to have around and happy – we call her our soft silly chubby baby. She loves everyone, dogs and people, she’s a total silly goose and just wants to have fun and play whether it’s with someone or something. She is so sweet, happy, confident, independent, curious, listens well and is a quiet pup, not a big barker or whiner. She hasn’t been very destructive or much of a chewer either. She can keep herself busy playing with toys or wrestling with her sister or foster dog brothers. She is extremely smart. She has been hitting her potty pads since she arrived in rescue at just six weeks old. She is now going potty outside and rarely has accidents inside. She follows commands and comes when I call her. She knows what it means when I say we are going outside to go potty or ask if everyone is hungry or wants treats. We are working on sit. She kennels well using treats or toys and is overall very food and praise motivated. Rory loves spending time outside. We are out many times a day, in the fenced backyard, where she spends time chasing the other dogs, wrestling with her sister, and chewing on twigs, leaves, and sticks. When we are outside she is very curious, but definitely stays close by, within eye view and fairly close to her people. She is an absolute sweetheart, loves to cuddle, is gentle when she plays, takes cues from the older dogs, and has THE softest fur I’ve ever felt. She has beautiful gray brown eyes, and a magnetic little personality. We live in a quieter home with two teenagers that come and go. Rory would do well in any home; a busier household with other furry friends or a quieter household, like ours. We have only taken a couple of car rides, but Rory did well snuggled next to her sister with little to no whining. At night, she sleeps in a kennel next to her sister and sleeps from about 8 PM to 6 AM. She eats first thing in the morning, plays for a bit, and then goes back to bed for a long nap. Rory is great on a schedule, is so eager to please, and is such a good girl. Rory is a very happy, secure puppy, and will no doubt grow up to be an amazing addition to any family. She will be a perfect best friend!
