Rosemary – Female DOB 6/27/2024 Domestic Short Hair – Brown/Black/Orange Tabby Bonded siblings Ernie & Rosemary were separated from their Mama before being fully weened and were found along a cornfield during the dog days of summer, hungry & thirsty. Their foster Human had them for five months getting them to be strong, domesticated kittens.  Ernie is an atypical ginger cat in that he’s super sweet and non-aggressive. You can practically see gears turning in his head when his curiosity keeps him at a safe distance from the object he’s studying. Rosemary, on the other hand, is more laid back,  and likes to watch what's going on around her. Ernie follows her lead and is often the innocent target when she instigates conflict lol! Together, they do everything. They are self-amused and playful; but willing lap cats too when their Human is at rest. Rosemary likes to ride around on your shoulder while you walk around the house. They both love to watch TV, but Ernie is also a fiend for chasing the cursor when you’re at the computer.  You will instantly become their BFF if you spoil them with treats and chicken, also any brand of lickables from squeeze-tubes. They both will come running just hearing the crinkle of the treat bag or shaking the container they know has their treats in.  Ernie is a sucker for being cradled & brushed; Rosemary likes to snuggle under the blanket, but watch out for your toes which may become victims of the claw shark.  A home with a nice enclosed porch or nice big sunny windows with cat trees would be the best fit for these kitties because they love watching birds & squirrels and being on bug-patrol. Whoever adopts these two can expect years of perpetual love & joy! They would do fine in a house with other cats, having socialized with all demeanor of feline. Smaller non-aggressive dogs would be fine so long as they are introduced in controlled increments. Not recommended for small kids or elderly adults due to their ornery natures. Respectful teenagers who are sensitive to young cats would be a great fit because these two love attention, especially when people encourage them to interact with bird feathers, catnip toys, and their favorite~ tennis balls!
