Meet Rosie! She's a 3-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund (Chiweenie) and weighs 16 lbs. Rosie is a local owner surrender. She and her older puppy, Mazey, we surrendered to Hope after their owner was threatened with eviction due to the dogs barking. They were left alone quite a bit and have not been socialized well. Understandably, Rosie is learning to trust people again, so she barks a little bit when meeting new people. She's super sweet and follows her foster family around the house. Rosie doesn't mind the cat in her foster home and gets along with the teenagers that she's now living with. She loves to go for walks and her favorite place to nap is on top of the couch so she can keep an eye on things around her. She sleeps in her kennel at night but likes to be close to her people. She is house trained, kennel trained, and leash trained.
