More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jan 27, 2026.Roxie is the kind of dog who gives you the best of both worlds — she enjoys being out and about with her people just as much as she loves calm, connected moments at home. At just 2 years old and 46 pounds, Roxie is a sweet, affectionate girl who truly thrives in a home setting. She’s house-trained, loves to be petted (especially a good scratch near her rump!), and happily settles in to relax after she’s had some activity. She has loved with other dogs before. She knows how to sit, takes treats gently, and enjoys toys like balls and chew toys. On leash she can be a little excited at first — she’s young and strong — but she’s eager, happy, and ready for adventures with someone who can match her energy. Her previous caregiver described her as a sweet, gentle dog who simply needed a more active household. Roxie is ready for a home where she can get regular exercise, enjoy walks or backyard time, and then come inside to relax and soak up affection.
