Meet Royal – The Prince of PlaytimeDon’t let the name fool you—Royal isn’t demanding a throne, just a yard to zoom in and a human or two to lean on between romps. At just under 50 pounds, this petite prince is fully grown and ready to rule your heart with a wagging tail and goofy grin.Royal is a friendly, playful pup who gets along great with other dogs at the shelter. He’s the perfect blend of energetic zoomies and sweet snuggles. A volunteer noted his signature move: sprint around the yard like a dog on a mission, then trot back for some loving pets… and repeat. (We call it the Royal Relay.)He was a little bouncy with excitement leaving his kennel (can you blame him?), but once outside, he settled into a nice walk like a true gentleman. He’s easy to leash, knows how to sit (even if treats aren’t really his thing), and has plenty of love to give.If your home is in need of a loyal sidekick who’ll keep you active and adored, come meet Royal. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
