I thought someone would come back for me, but no one did. Instead, I was kept in a small cage in a basement — lonely and scared — until one day, a kind rescuer heard my cries and gave me a second chance at life.Fast forward to today: I’ve spent over a year in boarding, dreaming of a family to call my own. And I recently flew to Richmond, BC and staying with a lovely foster family.I’m a 2-year-old Terrier mix, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped — all ready to go home. I’m gentle, loving, and adore people. I play beautifully with other dogs. I always do my potty outside (I’m a tidy girl!). I don’t have any behavioral issues — I just feel a little sad when left alone because I love being near my humans. My favorite snacks? Chicken, turkey, veggies… and even yogurt! At first, I might be a little shy in a brand-new place — but once I realize I’m safe, my tail will wag, I’ll lean in for cuddles, and my happy spirit will shine through. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live.While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 – $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee.[MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper.
