RUFUS NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:  Rufus        Best Guess for Breed:  Flat coated retriever mix  Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of January 2025         SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:  64 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with kids or cats but we will be happy to discuss integration strategies with any potential adopters.   Currently Living at: DC area foster home   Rufus is Looking For:   His forever home! Through no fault of his own, this sweetie now needs a new home. He’s eager to once again have his own humans for sniffy walks and romps and world exploration. Shelter staff say he is sweet, shy, and submissive – he’d like to male pup pals with other nice dogs!
