Ruger IS AVAILALBE (updated 07-09-2024).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. This handsome boy is approximately 3 years old, has gone through training and knows his commands, is easy on a leash and a great running partner, good in the house, loves going for car rides, and is an excellent copilot for adventure. We couldn&#39t tell you how he landed at the shelter as a stray, but we know that no one came looking for him and his time had run out, so we invited him into the Coastal family.Ruger wasn&#39t socialized with dogs before coming to the rescue, but does well with mellow dogs and used to share his trainer&#39s home with other canines. He can do it, but he needs structure and leadership to make it work. If you&#39re looking for a gorgeous bestie and can provide him the structure that will allow him to thrive, you&#39ve just met the love of your life. The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
