Critter Details

Rumba is a quiet-natured kitty who will purr when you hold her.  She does enjoy playing kitten games with her siblings.  Rumba is especially close to her “twin” sister, Samba.  A black stripe across her pink nose is all that differentiates her from Samba.  Rumba was ok with meeting her foster’s cats, but didn’t like the foster’s dog (an active 2-year-old Sheltie). Get $50 off a pair of kittens. Meet Rumba and Samba at our weekly adoption event on Wednesday, 6-8pm or Saturday, 12-4pm, PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd.  All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.  All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
