Hello, hello. My name is SADAF and here is a little info about me:Breed: huskyAge: 3 yrsGender: feWeight: 23 kgCountry of origin: Middle EastHighlight(s): deeply social, playful, affectionate, gentleI am one of those rare, gentle souls who immediately connects with people and animals. My rescuer found me in the middle of a scorching summer day in the city center. He saw me alone, exhausted, and dehydrated — so weak I could barely stand. People passed by without noticing me, but I looked him straight in the eyes… and that was the moment everything changed. He brought me home immediately, gave me water, shade, and safety. I have been with them since, recovering beautifully, learning to trust, and showing my incredible personality. From the first day, I showed nothing but gratitude and sweetness — I knew I had been given a second chance.I am a incredibly social, playful pup, full of affection. I'm the kind of dog who brings light into every room. I have shown and extraordinary bond with my rescuer's baby. I sit next to him, lie beside him, and show remarkable patience with all his movements and curiosity. My rescuer says my calmness and sensitivity around children is truly special. I am excellent with kids.Things I love? Running freely and feeling the wind, sleeping or sitting right beside you, exploring new places and discovering new smells and staying close to my humans — I'm a true companion dog.I have a Gpgood appetite, am energetic, and am ready for my forever home. I would thrive in a  family with active adopters who enjoy walks and outdoor activities. A home with other dogs is a plus, as I am very friendly.Anyone looking for a loyal companion who stays by your side, then look no further. I am a gentle, loving girl, who wants nothing more than to belong.Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknownKids: yesFears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training:Leash skills: some. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home.Health notes: i have a small white marking near one eye — the vet confirmed it has no effect on my vision, likely a mild pigmentation or allergy-related spot.I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, not to exceed $300.Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in – at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 – $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee.[MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper.
