Age:   approx 9 years old   Weight: 18  lbs My adoption fee is $350   which includes transportation charges to the Northeast. Sadie has arrived in Rhode Island and wants to meet you!  This darling gal is approximately 9 years old, 18 pounds, and we are guessing a Dachshund mix based on her longish/low frame.  She came to us from Texas where she was surrendered to a shelter due to her owner's illness.  Do not let Sadie's age and those sad eyes fool you!  This gal is an exuberant, loving, joyful and active bundle of silliness!  Sadie never met a stranger and never will!  She is an absolute doll.  Sadie loves leash walks and running around the yard with her dog friends, then some quiet time on the back of the couch.  She has shown no interest other than a sniff at the foster family's cat.  We are just getting to know her but her housetraining and crate training appear to be in order.   If you serious about adopting, the first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website:   https://www.smalldogrescuene.org/
