I am very, very affectionate and get along with everyone I have met. My foster mom thinks I've never lived indoors before, but I am already housebroken and quickly learning the rules. I am a quiet girl, my foster mom has never even heard me bark! I am crate trained. I love to run and chase squirrels, so a fenced yard is a must for me to have. My life has been difficult. I was probably an outdoor neglected dog. I was picked up as a stray and spent a month and a half at the pound, before I came into Roses Rescue. They  found out I was heartworm positive, so after the treatment, I had to spend 6 weeks in a crate while the worms in my heart died. The vet says there should be no lasting issues. Now I am free and love to play with my foster siblings, especially my Frenchie brother who really keeps me on my toes! We love to romp and play together in the backyard! I would probably do best in a home as the only dog or be with a young puppy to play with. I love all the attention. After all that I am fine now and ready to move on to my forever home with a family of my own. I would love to be a friend to a high energy player like myself. We could wear each other out.
