This long-legged goofball is a lovable mix of silly and sweet. Sam's playful and funny—especially when he trots around like a baby deer—but also loves downtime curled up in a soft bed or snuggled on the couch. He would love a home with playmates where he’ll get plenty of affection.Sam LOVES other dogs and thrives on bring able to play with canine friends, gently wrestling and adapting to their play styles. He also played well with the cat in his foster home! This social butterfly has met some young kids and was wonderful with them, giving them gentle kisses and letting them dress him up in costumes. If he had his way, Sam would spend all day every day playing with his friends.Sam is working on his crate training and house trained. He is crated occasionally during the day and overnight. While he'd rather be with his humans and protests at first, he will continue to improve with time, consistency and structure. He'd make a perfect doggy daycare candidate or work from home buddy. Sam is house trained and walks well on his leash. This food-motivated boy is smart and eager to please, so he would likely thrive with the structure (and treats!) of learning new skills and tricks.Sam is a fun loving guy who is ready to brings his infectious joy to your life.
