Meet SAMMY SAMMY is a sweet and loving little boy who can be a touch shy, but with love and encouragement, you’ll earn his trust—and before long, he’ll be curled up in your lap soaking in one-on-one attention. This quiet, gentle Puggle boy is slowly coming out of his shell in our shelter, and starting to believe that a wonderful family will choose him to be a part of their lives forever. His adorable little face steals every person’s heart he meets! SAMMY is approx. 7 years young, and walks well on a leash, likes other animals, and with patience and consistency, we believe he’ll settle into his new home just fine. Respectful, older dog-savvy children may be fine for our smaller boy, or even a dog his size as a companion to romp and play with. SAMMY is treat-motivated ( really, who isn’t ? ), affectionate, and already forming bonds with our shelter staff. With a calm, consistent home and a little time, this sweet boy will continue to grow more confident and reveal even more of the loving companion he’s meant to be.
