Name:  Sarge        Best Guess for Breed:  German Shepherd mix  Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of January 2026         SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  62 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter – needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Sarge is Looking For:  If you know German shepherds – you know what’s most important to those Velcro dogs. Having their own humans! Sarge is looking for his own humans to trot alongside on those sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up! Making new pup pals is on his wish list along with quality kibble and a cushy dog bed.   But above all he wants to know where he belongs, to be under his own roof, to be safe and loved.
