Bio as of 2026 –  Meet Sasquatch again!  Almost 6 years old and 110 pounds of pure love, Sasquatch is a big, happy boy with an even bigger heart. This handsome large-breed mix (possibly Great Dane/Pit mix) was adopted as a puppy and recently lost the only family he’s ever known due to divorce and relocation, through absolutely no fault of his own. Despite the big changes in his life, Sasquatch remains a joyful, people-loving sweetheart who just wants to be close to his humans. He’s the kind of dog who will happily drape his giant self across your lap, lean his whole weight into you for pets, and try to make friends with every stranger he meets. Personal space? Not his specialty and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Sasquatch previously lived with cats and small children and did wonderfully. He is house trained, crate trained, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations. He has not lived with other dogs, but so far has shown no concerning behaviors around them. To help set him up for success, Sasquatch has been participating in training and is doing great! His adopter will receive three prepaid training sessions with our trainer to continue building skills and strengthening your bond. We’re looking for a foster or adopter who will continue this training so Sasquatch can truly thrive and be the very best version of himself. He’s playful, affectionate, and deeply loyal, just a gentle giant who just wants a second chance at forever. Could you be the one to give Sasquatch the stability and love he deserves?    Bio from 2020 –  Sasquatch and his 9 siblings were surrendered to the shelter after their mama attacked them at only 6 weeks old. All the puppies, known as the Monster Litter Puppies, sustained an injury that has been addressed by our vets and are recovering in their foster homes. Sasquatch loves to play and snuggle with anyone and everything. He is so young that he will be great with all dogs, kids and cats. Like all dogs and puppies, he will need a family that will take the time to provide the required training within the first three months of adopting him. We do not know what he is mixed with or how big he will be. Sasquatch is available for adoption and will be able to go home on October 25th, just in time for Halloween.
