See Savannah’s HomepageGo to our official website⚠️ Please note: One of Savannah’s photos shows her at the time she was found and may be upsetting to some viewers. Savannah, who is around 2 years old, had a heartbreaking start to life. She was found on the side of a busy road in Kentucky—tired, cold, starving, and severely emaciated. Thankfully, a dedicated group of volunteers stepped in to save her, and she was brought to Illinois by Starfish Animal Rescue, where her journey to healing began. Today, Savannah is learning what it means to feel safe, cared for, and loved. She currently weighs around 30 pounds and could still benefit from gaining a few more, but she has made incredible progress and continues to thrive every day. Savannah is crate trained, doing great with potty training, and already knows “sit.” She has lovely manners, gets along well with other dogs, and is a joy to have around. She is quiet, sweet, and deeply affectionate—Savannah truly loves people and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Her soulful golden eyes tell a story of resilience and hope, and they have a way of capturing your heart almost instantly. Savannah is ready for a forever home where she can continue to blossom and be cherished the way she deserves. Could you be the happy ending Savannah has been waiting for?
