AN ADORABLE & FUN PUPPY:  Approx. 5 – 6 months old / Approx. 27 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m Saylor! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control — I’m not sure how I ended up there, but I sure am grateful to be here now, spending time with all the wonderful volunteers who play with me and take such good care of me. I’m a happy pup and can’t wait to find a forever home of my very own!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met some dogs at Mostly Mutts who were about my size, and I liked them!  So, if you have a friendly pup who’d enjoy a very playful puppy companion, let’s meet!  I also spent a night with a temporary foster who had a dog that wasn’t quite as playful as me and I didn’t fully catch on to their signal that they were finished playing, so I’m still learning my doggie manners. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over and because I’m playfully mouthy.              • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as a fun, happy, and playful pup — truly all puppy!  I’m smart, friendly, and full of joyful energy.  I was great for my bath, calm and attentive the whole time, and I’ve quickly become a shelter favorite.  I’m a lovable bundle of fun ready to bring lots of smiles to my new family! / My energy level at the shelter is around 4-6, but it was much higher when I went for a spend-the-night with a volunteer.         • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning more.  I’m working on my leash walking manners now as I can be a bit of a tripping hazard with the leash.  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts, though I didn’t enjoy being in the crate when I could see or hear people in the home I visited for my spend-the-night. / I’m having accidents on the shelter schedule, but did better in the temp. home I visited on a frequent schedule, so keep me on a frequent schedule and I think I’ll master my potty manners pretty quickly. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love going for walks in our yard, playing, and spending time with the wonderful volunteers — really, I just enjoy all the fun things life has to offer! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and spayed.
